Refund Policy

All designs sold by Mornington Sea Glass are of the highest quality. It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. Our refund and exchange policy follows guidelines set by Consumer Affairs Victoria:

You are entitled to choose a refund, repair, exchange or credit if the item you have bought from us has faulty craftsmanship or, is significantly different to those shown or described to you.

Items must be returned undamaged with the original packaging and copy of sales receipt. Do not tape boxes as it will damage them for re-use. Our environment policy is important to us and we pride ourselves in recycling and re-using wherever possible.

We will only refund return shipping costs for items with faulty craftsmanship.

Please note, glass breakage and normal wear and tear are not included.

While we are not obliged to give a refund if you simply change your mind, it is our belief that we are not happy unless you are, so we will provide you with an exchange item or credit if your original purchase item is returned to us within 10 business days.

To make a return or exchange, you must contact us prior to sending your item(s) back.

Prices are subject to change, primarily due to sea glass availability and prices of sterling silver.

Environment Policy 

Sea glass itself is glass discarded by us and made into a collectible gem by nature. This recycling philosophy is central to our business. We are constantly striving to find ways to ensure our business has minimal impact on our environment.

All invoices and in house paper products are printed on recycled papers.

Our business cards and stationary are from pine plantations and not old growth forests.

The paper gift bags we choose are recyclable.

The gift boxes we choose are re-usable.

The frames we choose are from environmentally friendly pine plantations.

We use recycled packaging material whenever possible.

We choose to have an online catalogue and email newsletter in place of advertising our products using mass mail outs.

We use low phosphate soaps and soft polishing cloths to clean our sea glass and jewellery designs.
