During the Victorian Era, dating from the mid 1800s, the coastal town of Seaham in the north east of England became famed for its glass making history. Excess glass during the glass making process was cut off and collected near the kiln. Colours would become mixed and layered during the day and then tossed out into the Northern sea at the end of the day. Over the years multi-colour gems started washing ashore. Multi colour sea glass is considered extremely rare in the sea glass collecting world.
Inspired by our love of the world beneath the waves, our bezel ring comes with a piece of genuine sea glass from England and set to the exact shape it originally washed ashore.
